Seon Shim donates all website development, hosting infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance at no charge to DRIG. The only potential expenditure is domain registration and email accounts, which DRIG may purchase directly or ask Seon to purchase on their behalf at actual cost.

All hosting, infrastructure, development, and maintenance services are provided by Seon Shim using free-tier platforms (Cloudflare Pages, GitHub). No third-party hosting fees are incurred.

Option 1 — DRIG purchases directly: DRIG creates accounts with a domain registrar (e.g. Cloudflare Registrar, Namecheap) and Zoho Mail, then shares credentials with Seon for DNS and email configuration.
Option 2 — Seon purchases on behalf: If DRIG prefers, Seon Shim will purchase and set up the domain and email accounts, then provide DRIG with full account credentials and ownership. Seon will invoice DRIG for the exact amount paid — no markup, no service fee.
Ownership note: Regardless of who purchases, DRIG retains full control and ownership of the domain registrar account and both Zoho Mail accounts. These assets remain with DRIG regardless of any future changes. Aliases (e.g. admin@disabilityresearchinterestgroup.org, steering@...) can route to the same 2 accounts at no added cost.
Next Steps
- DRIG confirms whether they will purchase the domain and email accounts directly, or ask Seon Shim to do so on their behalf.
- Domain and email accounts are set up (either directly by DRIG or by Seon at actual cost). DRIG receives full account credentials and ownership.
- Seon Shim completes Cloudflare Pages deployment, DNS configuration, and contact form setup.
- Seon Shim completes web page design and implementation. All content is reviewed and confirmed ready for public launch.
- After launch, Seon Shim maintains ongoing responsibility for content updates, security patches, and hosting operations.
This proposal is prepared by Seon Shim (individual contributor) and reflects costs as of 2026-05-25. Third-party pricing (domain registrar, Zoho Mail) may vary slightly by provider and renewal year.
All source code and web assets are owned by DRIG. Seon Shim retains no ongoing contractual dependency or lock-in. DRIG is free to transfer maintenance responsibilities to any other party at any time.
